Color of 2012? Pantone picks orange as top hue
Oh, right — because that’s a color that’s flattering on everyone.
I just watched the latest episode of Glee - “Hold on to Sixteen”. I absolutely loved the entire episode. Gosh, what this show is doing is beyond anything else at this time. They are focusing on hard issues and handling it with such care and truthfulness that it’s inspiring! Here are a few of my thoughts so far.
Storylines:
Mike Chang’s (Harry Shum Jr.) storyline this season has been so wonderful. I have really enjoyed seeing this character grow and in the process shine. It was very touching when his father not only finally accepted his dreams, but also told him he is going to help him get into the best dance schools.
The next storyline that I really have invested in is Quinn’s (Dianna Agron). She has been through so much these past couple of seasons and I really have felt so bad for her. This episode we finally get to see her come into her own! Dianna did a tremendous job acting this week. She made me really feel for Quinn and ultimately made me root for her. It’s about time we see Quinn back where she needs to be.
The performances:
1. Trouble Tones- they are so freaking good! I love the women power going on with all their musical numbers. Amber Riley and Naya Rivera are definitely two of the best singers on the show, so give me a song that they both have lead in and you have me hooked. Also, Heather Morris is a dance beast! So much respect for her. Also also, Sugar is absolutely hilarious.
2. New Directions- obviously my heart will forever be biased to them. They really know how to perform and sing amazing songs. I was sad Lea Michelle didn’t get to sing in the episode, but glad they did it the way they did. The first song was wonderful because we got to see some of the people who rarely get solos, sing out front. And they did great! The Janet Jackson song was really good too, mostly because the dancing was legit. And Darren Criss is always amazing! Now the last song they did during competition completely sealed the deal for me. I usually know all the songs they perform before the actual show airs because I love spoilers. But them singing Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” was a complete surprise to me! This song is my all time favorite MJ song, and is definitely in my top 5 favorite songs in general. So clearly I thought it was absolutely fantastic!!
Everything after this was just perfect. And especially the song choice at the end of the episode. “We Are Young” is so good and it of course sounded wonderful when New Direction and the Trouble Tones came together to sing it!
This was definitely one of my favorite episodes so far! Great work Glee! And thanks for bringing us along to enjoy it!
I’ve recently become obsessed with this song. The first time I heard it, I literally couldn’t keep myself from dancing along. It just puts me in a great mood every time I hear it. Music is one of those things that fills my soul. It makes me think about the wonderful things in life. “Its hard to dance with a devil on your back. So shake it off.”

My new girl co-star, Max Greenfield, made this video of him self singing Rihanna whilst wearing prosthetic make up and a whole lot of padding. The result is indescribable. Enjoy.
AMAZING!
Thanks, Siri.
